As one of the programs of the National Centre of Disabled Persons(NCDP), the Training and Information service for Business Development (TIBD) was established since 2004. TIBD office is currently located in Kralanh village, Veal Pong commune, Oudong district, Kampong Speu province, extending its services to three communes in two provinces which cover 48 villages in total. The three communes include:  

 

1- Veal Pong commune, Oudong district, Kampong Speu province

2- Veal Pon commune, Thpong district, Kampong Speu province

3- Svay Chuk  commune, Samakee Meanchey district, Kampong Chhnang province

 

         The program areas combine a total of more than 800 disabled people (there are nine types of disability). The disabled people benefit from the program through five core areas of operation:

 

Main Activities:

1-     Awareness raising on disability issues

2-     Educational support

3-     Skill training

4-     Physical rehabilitation

5-     Small business activities through Self-Help Groups (SHGs)

 

          There are three staff members who are currently working for the program.

-         3-   Ms. Keo Sopha, Office Security Guard
