THE NATIONAL CENTRE OF DISABLED PERSON'S NEWS


 

On 15th September 2004, was a birthday of Excellency Hun Mana. She set up a program called HOPEFUL SMILES in order to build relationship between her and disabled children and she want to have chit chat sessions and gift giving to disabled and orphaned children. On that day she invited charitable people to join this program, most of them contributed as money in order to help disabled and orphaned children. She also invited many video stars and singers in Cambodia to serve those children during lunch. There are 200 disabled children with disabilities such as Deaf, Cerebral Palsy, polio came from other organizations: Child Center Mental Health (CCMH), Servant, Hagar, Lavalla school, Tonsay school and National Centre of Disabled Persons (NCDP) attended this program which is celebrated at CHENLA

 

Cultural Center Phnom Penh. All children looks very happy and some of them able to sing and dance on tribune. I hope this program will continue every year. On behalf of all children from NCDP/CBR program, I wish Excellency Hun Mana and her husband to have good luck, good health and successful with your business.

On 15th September 2004, NCDP office hold a day workshop between Veteran International Kien Khlaing staff and Community Based Rehabilitation staff to presenting 3 case studies of NCDP/CBR clients. This workshop is to share ideas and experience to find the best way to improve children with disabilities.
